Patricia King is off to Cambodia!

This week, Patricia King and XP Team is off to Cambodia for some more exciting missions adventures!  There is so much that the Lord is doing in Cambodia and we’re honored to be a part of it.

Patricia will lead a team of business & ministry leaders in a tour of Poipet and the various projects that we’re helping with there.  Please pray for this group of leaders, as their influence among their home countries will be widespread as they set foot on the ground to see the work being done.  It’s so powerful to actually visit the nation of Cambodia and see the difference these projects are making and we’re thrilled to be leading this team of about 40 “movers-and-shakers”!

XP is also helping a documentary team from Hong Kong film some interviews and get some footage for a documentary they are creating, so they can share with their part of the world the incredible work being done in Cambodia that is helping to fight human trafficking.  Some of this group will also head into Thailand to see the brothels, the slums and the various projects bringing life there, both in Pattaya and in Bangkok.

Then XP Missions will host two one-week outreaches in Poipet, with people coming from around the world to help make a difference – to pray, worship, lead outreaches, and impact this region with the love of Jesus!  We will also be traveling into Siem Reap to help feed the poor that live off a garbage dump there.

Then after the ministry in Cambodia, Patricia will travel to various regions in Asia to speak at conferences and other various events there, calling the Body of Christ to continue to rise up to meet the Social Justice issues that God has on His heart!

Please cover all aspects of Patricia  in prayer – safety for her travels, her health, divine appointments with the lost, impactful moments with believers and a bountiful harvest of Kingdom fruit!  Bless you!

Patricia King Loves to Support Ministries in Israel!

One of the three ministries in Israel that Patricia King & XP Missions supports is called “Living Bread International”.  They are an amazing ministry that works among the refugees in Israel found in the 27 different refugee camps found in the Holy Land.  These are people – Jews, Arabs and Palestinians – that need help on all levels – food, medical aid, milk for babies and most importantly, the word of life from Jesus!

Karen Dunham heads up this ministry and is a prophetic voice through the International Church they run, as well as through the Door of Hope International TV shows they produce.  Many Muslims have come to Jesus through this powerful ministry and lives are radically changed.

Then also watch this video about how Jesus visited Mohammed in a vision, and displayed the truth within this vision by showing him how to fold & cutting paper symbols demonstrating the Arabic word hell and how the cross is the answer to hell!

Patricia King: A Time of Reflection & Gratefulness…

Patricia King and the XP Missions team are so grateful for the opportunities that the Lord has given to sow into a variety of missions projects around the world this past year of 2011.  It’s an honor to be the hand of Jesus extended in so many regions and in so many ways!!!

When we think about the lives touched over in Thailand and Cambodia, with our children’s shelters over there, our hearts just melt.  Where would these kids be without the love and care made possible by the many donors coming together for their care and support?

We’re also monthly contributors to Iris, both at the main base in Pemba, and at the Meize Village project – these precious children & widows have no one to care for them, and now they’ve been placed in loving families, and given an education and opportunities to grow their own gardens.  Their praises ring out to Jesus – what a wonderful response to the love of the Father being shown in these practical ways!

We’ve also been responsible for a home full of child soldiers in a semi-closed country in SE Asia – what an honor to bring a new life and fresh hope to these children that have been ravaged by internal war among rebel armies and drug lords.  Our hearts are humbled to be able to serve in this capacity.

Another major area of missions support is our very own Restoration House, where we bring in young women that have been trapped by their past and are willing to make a change in their future.  They are mentored and discipled, and given work skills and life skills, but most importantly, following-Jesus-skills!!!

We also monthly support three different projects in Israel, bringing hope to both Jews and Palestinians caught in the conflicts & poverty-stricken areas there.  Light shines brightest in the darkness and we know these ministries are having a huge impact on the ground in this critical area in the world.  We are blessed to be a blessing to Israel!

We have also been a support to missionaries in Belize, helping them establish programs for teens, families, counseling, and prayer. They are having an impact at the governmental level there.  Wow, what an honor!

Patricia King also sows into a variety of other ministries on a monthly basis: David Hogan in Mexico, and various ministries in the USA – what an honor it is to serve the Lord in all these capacities through our XP Missions department.  Please visit our xpmissions.com website and check out the various projects in detail and join with us in our gratefulness to the Lord to be allowed the privilege of sowing into all these amazing ministries world-wide!

Blessings from XP Missions to you and your loved ones in the New Year!!!

Patricia King Helps Rescue a Young Boy

When Patricia King was in Cambodia this past Fall, she had the privilege of touching a young boy’s life and helping place him into a safe and loving environment after he had been trafficked.

Johnny was found by the immigration officials at the Thai-Cambodian border, after escaping from the people who had trafficked him.  He was scared and running for his life when Patricia King and our TV producer, Shirley Ross, came by the remote border crossing where he was being held since the day before.

Patricia King, along with workers from the Cambodian Hope Organization, took the boy into their care at Safe Haven, the compound which holds several children’s homes, a school, and a counseling and recovery center.  Because the little boy was not yet speaking, Patricia affectionately called him “Johnny”, which means the beloved of God.

Watch this poignant story unfold as the boy is taken into care, and given a second chance at life, among the other rescued children staying at Safe Haven.

Pray for Johnny, and all his friends at this home, as well as the caregivers we partner with at Cambodian Hope Organization – they are amazing people, doing amazing work among the poor and broken in Poipet, Cambodia.

Patricia King Loves Christmas Family Pic’s!!!

Christmas is a wonderful time for sharing pictures of our families with those near and far, keeping them updated on the comings and goings of the family and here at XP Missions, we aren’t any different.  So, we’re pleased to share with you two of our “family pic’s” with you this Christmas season!

The first picture is of the children that are resident in the Meize Village in Mozambique that we sponsor on a monthly basis.  This IRIS-based project in Africa is an amazing testimony to the power of love and transformation in the lives of children that were destitute, abandoned and discarded and have now found hope and life in Jesus! Just to see the look of joy and happiness on their faces gives us great joy and we wanted to share this amazing picture with you!

Another family picture that we’d like to share with you is one from Thailand.  In this home, called Mercy Center, we fully sponsor five children and one full-time staff and we’re happy to say that these children are doing well, settled into educational programs.  If you could hear their stories of the abuse, the poverty, the beatings and the lack of care that they had before coming into our shelter, your heart would break.  So to see them all happy, clean and smiling is a real treat and we know it also warms the heart of Jesus!!!

May you and your families also have a wonderful and blessed Christmas Season!
