Patricia King Loves to Support Israel

Patricia King and CSA-XP Ministry love the nation that God has chosen to bless in a special way – Israel.  We are in days where many nations are rising up against Israel, even those that walked closely with her in the past.  We feel the Biblical mandate remains the same – those who pray for the peace of Jerusalem and bless Israel will be greatly blessed.  We want to rise up and call Israel blessed as a nation and so we stand with those that are walking in love to support those in need in this nation that others love to hate.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure.” Psalm 122:6 (NIV)

Each month, we support three different  ministries working in the nation of Israel:

  • Tents of Mercy – an organization that extends charity assistance to needy Israelis, providing shelter, food, counseling and more.
  • Living Bread – this ministry is multi-faceted and ministers to those caught in refugee camps and to all those greatly in need of help, both physically and spiritually
  • Christian Friends of Israel – a ministry located in Jerusalem that provides assistance to new immigrants, survivors of the Holocaust, Israeli soldiers, prayer for the nation and other various projects in the nation.

Please join us as we pray for the people of Israel and the leaders of their nation – pray for wisdom from God in how to handle the ongoing peace process, especially in the face of such threats of violence and unrest in the nations around them.  And pray for leaders of the other nations that are friendly towards Israel – they also need much wisdom, as well!

Blessings and thanks for standing with Israel alongside our ministry in these worthy causes.

Join Patricia and various members of the XP team for the time of your life in Cambodia! We are really pressing into God’s heart for the precious city of Poipet, Cambodia and have received big vision from the Lord to impact this city and this nation.

Poipet is on the border between Cambodia and Thailand and plays a key role in the sex trafficking happening between the two nations. It’s time to bring Kingdom JUSTICE to Cambodia!

Patricia King Fights Sex Trafficking!

In February of 2012, the unthinkable happened – while taking a camera out on the streets of Pattaya, Thailand, we caught stunning, yet heart-breaking footage of a child being purchased.  Click here to watch a clip called “Children for Sex

In the past, Pattaya, Thailand has been known as the Sex Tourism Capital of the world but we’re glad to report that this is slowly changing.  Just not fast enough for our liking!!!  Even though we’re seeing bars shut down, more families coming for an ‘honest vacation’, there is still a dark side of this city that is very challenging to encounter.

Children are often still seen as a commodity for purchase in Thailand and other nations – for cheap labor in begging rings, hard manual labor and also for sex for both local Thai men and for foreigners.  It’s so sad to see the beautiful innocence of these precious children tarnished in such an ugly way.

XPmissions has established an emergency shelter so that children who have been abused or traumatized have a safe place to go to receive love, healing, education – a future and a hope!  Read more about this project here: XPmissions Thailand

Patricia King and her team will continue to press in with their prayers, finances, manpower and vision, to put an end to the trafficking of children in all nations of the world…!

Join us in any way you can – pray, give, go!!!

Patricia King & Manna

Click Here to see her Video!

Manna is a lovely young Cambodian girl, and when you meet her, her eyes sparkle with life and a smile is ever ready on her face.  But it wasn’t always this way

Manna was born to a family suffering from severe poverty in northern Cambodia and often, family members were violent and abusive.  Her two older sisters had already been sold for sex, in order to help the family as they struggled under severe financial hardship.  But one day, a young woman met the family and Manna captured her attention. This woman brought the child to her father, Chomno, who oversees the organization called Cambodian Hope Organization.  Chomno and his wife not only helped precious little Manna, but reached out to the entire family, giving them life and hope for a better future.

Manna now attends school, plays with her many friends and is a well-adjusted girl with a future and a hope – she even has plans to become the next leader of her nation!!!  All because someone stopped by and showed her some attention and stopped the cycle of abuse around her.

Pray for precious Manna and for many other children just like her, that are waiting for their lives to change for the better.  Pray for them.  Give to projects that are helping children and their families in the Cambodian region. And consider going to serve on a short-term missions trip.  Visit xpmissions.com for more information.

Patricia King Champions Safe Houses

Patricia King recently visited Poipet, Cambodia and was very impressed with a most practical method of stopping sex trafficking in the region.

Northern Cambodia is fairly rural and people live in villages – small clusters of 50-75 families – and many of these villages are potential trafficking targets, as they’re closely located to the Thailand border.

Cambodian Hope Organization, a Christian agency working in the region has developed the concept of “Safe Houses”. A Safe House is a two-bedroom home that hosts a man and his wife as the Safe House Overseers. They then adopt three children, either at risk or being targeted or who have been previously rescued and are continuing their rehabilitation process. The house parents care for these children and give them a safe environment to live.

Social workers routinely visit the Safe House to ensure the continued progress of each child. Education is also provided, along with the finances for the children’s clothing and food.

The Safe House Leaders, along with hosting gospel outreaches, teach the village on awareness concerning sexual exploitation. They also become “watchdogs” for the village and make sure no children are sold into sex slavery from that village.

To build a Safe House and to support the Overseer couple for a year costs approximately $5,000 –  $10,000, depending on if a home is built from scratch, or additions can be made to an existing home.

Patricia King is committed to this cause and has the faith to raise up the finances to build & fully support four of these Safe Houses in this next year! Join us in prayer and support to help end trafficking of vulnerable children in northern Cambodia!
